Terms & Conditions
Official guidelines and binding rules for IRCTC HeliYatra services.
1. MANDATORY YATRA REGISTRATION
Before booking a helicopter ticket, it is mandatory to complete the Chardham/Hemkund Sahib Yatra registration on the official Uttarakhand Government portal. Booking without a valid Yatra registration number will be considered invalid.
2. BOOKING LIMITS & PASSENGERS
- A maximum of **2 helicopter tickets** can be booked per User/Booker ID.
- Each ticket can accommodate a maximum of **6 passengers**.
- A single User ID can thus book for a maximum of 12 passengers across 2 tickets. For larger groups, a separate User ID must be used.
3. IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Passengers must carry the **original ID proof** (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License) that was used during the booking process. Digital copies or photocopies may not be accepted at the helipad.
4. AGE & FARE GUIDELINES
- **Children (2 years and above):** Require a separate ticket and are charged the full adult fare.
- **Infants (under 2 years):** Travel free of charge but are not provided a separate seat. The infant's weight is added to the accompanying passenger's weight.
5. WEIGHT & BAGGAGE LIMITS
Standard weight limit is typically **80 kg per passenger**. Passengers exceeding this limit may be required to pay an additional fee (e.g., ₹150/kg) or may even be denied boarding if safety limits are exceeded.
Baggage is strictly limited to 2-5 kg per person due to load restrictions in high-altitude terrain.
6. REPORTING TIME
Passengers are required to report to the designated helipad at least **one hour** before the scheduled departure time for mandatory check-in, weighing, and security processes.
⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
Helicopter services are entirely dependent on weather conditions and technical clearance. Flights may be cancelled or delayed without prior notice for passenger safety.
